& Woodforest National Bank

Presents Student Banking Days for 2009-2010

Again, Woodforest National Bank is providing an opportunity for students to make deposits into their own Savings Accounts on the school campus. Mark your calendars for the dates below:!

September 16th October 21st November 18th December 16th
January 20th February 17th March 21st May 19th

Interested?  Not signed up?   No problem!   Complete the Woodforest Application Form, which can be found on the SAOPCS Edline website under the PTO/Banking Day folder.  Due to banking regulations, one parent MUST provide a photocopy of his/her Driver’s License, his/her Social Security Number and your child’s Social Security Number.  With this information an account can be opened on the spot.  We will forward this information directly to the Bank. The Bank will then provide you with the necessary paperwork, i.e., a signature card, etc. These should be returned promptly to the Bank.  The process will then be complete.

Students who currently have accounts need only to bring their deposits to school on the morning of Banking Day.

Reminder to all:  deposit slips will be sent home with your child. To help with processing, please make sure all deposit slips include the account number.  We ask that whenever possible, coins are wrapped and/or counted at home. Need wrappers?  Just send a note with your child; we’ll get them to you for the next Banking Day. Our deposits range from $1 to unknown.  No deposit is too big or too small, but it all adds up!

Remember, these accounts have:

q                 NO MINIMUM BALANCE

q                 NO MINIMUM DEPOSIT – one penny can open the account

q                 NO SERVICE CHARGES

q                 ONLINE BANKING

Student Schedule for Deposits:

q                  1st – 5th Grade can stop by before class

q                  6th – 8th Grade will come down after morning announcements

q                  PreK-3 A.M. PreK-4 A.M. and Kindergarten – after morning announcements
