Excellence... Strengthened by Faith
School Fund

It is with great pleasure that we announce our annual School Fund campaign for 2012. Through much prayer and reflection, God's hand has led us in an exciting direction for this year's campaign. His grace and inspiration is manifested in the renewed spirit of love and charity alive in our school community. The theme of "Make Love Your Aim!" reflects our commitment to discipleship and sharing Christ's love with everyone.

What is a School Fund?

The School Fund is a necessary part of a comprehensive advancement program at any independent school. This fund helps to sustain programs and activities, not covered by tuition, that enrich the education of our students. It is important to remember that the funds we receive through tuition provide us with a school, but the additional income generated through fundraising make our school exceptional and unique.

We experience the best of technology, curriculum and extra-curricular enhancements specifically due to contributions to our Annual Fund, used to purchase items on our school’s Wish List.  Many of our students receive tuition assistance, also made possible through Annual Fund.  Every parent who has a child in our school reaps a part of this bounty.

These unrestricted funds are added to the school’s general fund for use in:

  • Meeting current operating expenses
  • School Wish List Procurement
  • Tuition Assistance

The gap between tuition and the cost to educate each child has remained steady over the past several years.  Fundraising has enabled us to maintain this rate at approximately $1400 annually.

Through the annual School Fund, St. Anthony of Padua has implemented and will continue to build upon the high educational standards which have earned us the status of 2012 National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence.
