Senior Pals
On Saturday, November 2, 2002, we had our
first official General meeting, 40
Seniors attended this meeting. Our enrollment has tripled, we now have over
125 members and we continue to grow every month. We meet in the Fellowship
Hall the first Saturday of every month at 10:15AM.
We have been blessed with an incredible committee;
these volunteers have taken on their tasks beyond our expectations. We
encourage the committee members to be on the agenda to speak about their
plans for trips, speakers, or social events. The hospitality committee
makes sure we have plenty of refreshments to serve after the meeting is
adjourned, our time for fun and fellowship. Are you 55 or BETTER..... Then
join the fun and fellowship!
The Senior Pals Goals are as follows:
· To offer the seniors a hand of friendship in a small group where
they fell a sense of belonging in a large parish.
· The seniors are welcomed into a community of individuals, who have
similar interests and life-experiences.
· To have interesting, entertaining or inspiring speakers at each
general meeting.
· To plan a trip or social event for each month.
· To comfort a member that is ill or has lost a loved one.
