St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Community welcomes you and congratulates you as you come to request Marriage in the Catholic Church. The celebration you are planning and the lifelong commitment you are choosing to make are a sign of God’s great love for all of us.

Your celebration of Christian Marriage is also a joyful event in the life of our community. As a community, we are ready and willing to do all we can to assist you in your preparations and to support you throughout your married life.

This packet has been prepared for you to make you feel comfortable with our community and to share with you the ways, as a community, we share the Gospel message and live in our faith.

Also included is an outline of the steps involved in your preparation for Christian Marriage. As your preparation progresses, more information will be given to you regarding the meaning of Christian Marriage and our parish guidelines for planning your special celebration.

Remember, make no wedding plans or spend any money until you have met with the Priest/Deacon.

If, at any point in the marriage preparation process, either the bride or the groom changes his/her personal, cell or business phone number or address, please let the parish office know immediately! We will be phoning you with important questions during the marriage preparation process.

For information regarding the ceremony and preparing the liturgy, please contact Stephen Sloper as ssloper@staoptw.org.  Stephen is the Director of Music and will assist you with all your needs regarding the liturgy itself.
