Confirmation

The preparation for the sacrament of Confirmation is an important component of our catechetical and sacramental ministry.  Confirmation is a gift of the Spirit which confirms our belonging to Christ in Baptism and which calls us to be witnesses of Christ’s love for others. This sacrament, which provides the fullness of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, is of great spiritual assistance to our youth during this time in their lives. Teens are prepared for Confirmation in an intense one-year program during their 10^th grade year, also during grades 11 and 12.  Classes are held weekly on Wednesday nights from 7:00p.m.-8:30p.m.. This sacramental preparation offers catechesis, prayer, scripture, reflection, community building, and personal sharing, retreats, and service projects.
