Prayer Blanket Ministry

Prayer Blankets are made by caring volunteers at St Anthony of Padua. They are lap size, made with 2 coordinating pieces of material, sewn with love and prayers for those who will receive them. It is a symbol of our faith community’s covering of prayer for the individual who receives it. This simple labor of love touches the lives of those who are going through difficult times as well as enriching the lives of those who donate fabric, sew the blankets and participate in the Healing and Anointing Service in which all blankets are blessed.

You can participate by:   

>Donating Fabric, Ribbon
>Assembling packets of fabric
>Sewing the Blankets
>Sewing and tying on Prayer Blanket Message
>Assisting with the Healing and Anointing Service
>Providing refreshments for the Healing and Anointing Service

Prayer Blankets are available in the Parish Office.
