FAMILIA:  Living the Splendor of Love

 The family is the pivotal point of society. It is here that God has expressed his presence in the world in a unique and unrepeatable way.  Charged with a tremendous mission in the Church, parents look for ways to strengthen our Catholic faith and live the gospel.

 FAMILIA (Family Life In America) is a program that opens hearts and minds to Catholic teaching and the gospel.  FAMILIA programs and curricula respect and build on the distinctive roles of husband/father and wife/mother by offering separate but corresponding programs for both men and women. Small groups of men and women meet twice monthly to study Church documents, the Catechism, and pray together.

 FAMILIA is a national Catholic program designed especially for men and dedicated to strengthening the most important unit of society…your family! A strong Husband and Father is irreplaceable.  FAMILIA gives you tools you can use and set's in motion men like you, who place God and their families at the top. The church recognizes the need for confident, courageous men to accept the Truth about marriage and the family. 

As part of a team in the pursuit of Excellence, you find ways to:

·         Actively live the principle as the father, protector, provider and Christian Leader of the family

·         Appreciate and honor your wife

·         Live the example of Christ

·         Motivate and inspire your children

 If you tried to write a mother's job description, the list of her roles would never end.  How do we balance it all, avoid burnout and stress?  Where do we get an endless supply of patience and love?  -  Only from Christ.

 FAMILIA nurtures your vocation as a wife and mother by giving you specific tools and knowledge of our Catholic faith.  You may be thinking, "How can I possibly commit to anything else in my busy life?"  I promise you, this twice-a-month study will not only energize you to make it through all of your responsibilities, it will remind you of the joy in it all.

FAMILIA provides you the environment in a Family Life Team, to look into the eyes of Christ and the Catholic Church and see the love and the hope he has for you. He has given into your care the heart of your family. The Church has answers to your many concerns and the gifts and tools to help you
