FAITH FORMATION 2007-2008 The Faith Formation Office will be closed during the month of June and July…however, the Coordinators will be checking phone messages and emails on a regular basis. We’re looking forward to Faith Formation 2007-2008!
2007-2008 Pre-School/Elementary/Special Blessings Faith Formation Registration dates: Sunday, August 19th 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Sunday, August 26th 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 5th 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Thursday, September 6th 9:00 a.m. ~ Noon Please note: No registrations can be taken at the parish office during June, July, August, or through September 6th. Late fees apply for all registrations taken after September 6th.
Faith Formation Fees: $70.00 for all students who register by September 6th; $80.00 for all students who register after September 6th. Session Times: Pre-School: (2, 3, Pre-K as of September 1, 2007) Sundays during 9:00 Mass and 11:00 mass Special Blessings: Sundays during 11:00 mass only Elementary: Sunday 12:45 – 2:00 (Grades K-6) Sunday 4:15- 5:30 (Grades K-6) Monday 4:00-5:15 (Grades K-4) Monday 5:30-6:45 (Grades 1-6) Tuesday 4:00-5:15 (Grades K-4) Tuesday 5:30-6:45 (Grades 1-6) Classes start: September 23, 2007
OCIC (Order of Christian Initiation of Children)
~ For children who are UNBAPTIZED or baptized in a faith other than Roman Catholic ~ Registration/Parent Information Meeting Date: Sunday, August 12 after the 11:00 Mass ~ Registration Fee: $70.00 per student You must bring a copy of your child’s Birth Certificate (if unbaptized) or Baptismal Certificate (if baptized in another faith) in order to register in OCIC. SACRAMENTAL PREPARATION (First Reconciliation/Penance/Confession & First Communion) (Grades 2-5) NOW IS THE TIME TO GET ORGANIZED!! Registration/Parent Information Meeting: Sunday, September 9t from 2:00-4:00 p.m. or Tuesday, September 11 from 7:00-8:30 p.m. SacPrep Fees: $40.00 per student You MUST bring a copy of your child’s Baptismal Certificate in order to register in SacPrep. Now is the time to find that certificate; if you can’t find it, contact the parish where your child was baptized for a copy. No students will be allowed to register in SacPrep without a baptismal certificate. If you have any questions, please email Mike Quigley, Sac Prep Coordinator at mquigley@staoptw.org
First Communion for Students Grades 6-12 Students Grades 6-12 who have NOT received their First Reconciliation and First Communion should register in OCIC classes which start the week of August 12th (please see above). Students will need to bring a copy of their Baptismal Certificate to register. Registration fee: $70.00 per student |
