Eucharistic Visitation

Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist are designated to bring the Eucharist to those who are confined to hospitals, institutions and at home. It is through the Eucharist that the faithful who are afflicted by aging and illness are given the strongest means of support.

Current Facilities served:

Regent Care:
Eucharist offered every Wednesday.
Mass is celebrated on the second Wednesday of month.
The Rosary is said with residents on the 3rd Wednesday of the month.
Silverado:
Eucharist is offered once per week.
Home Visits:
Requests are made frequently to bring The Eucharist to the home of someone who is unable to get to Mass. This is most often on Sunday but can be any day of the week.
Training Required:
Theology training is required to be commissioned as a Eucharistic Minister.
These training sessions are scheduled several times per year and consist of a two hour evening session. Additional training is provided to those who are available for visitation.
