Funeral Planning

In our moment of sorrow, the Lord is in our midst and consoles us with His word; blessed are the sorrowful; they shall be comforted.

 Funerals are important occasions for our Parish family to be a loving, compassionate presence to bereaved families and friends at a time when they need it most.

St. Martha’s Society

St. Martha’s Society Funeral Reception Ministry will coordinate a beautiful luncheon reception at no cost to the family in St. Anthony’s Adult Meeting Room following a Funeral Mass and return from the cemetery.

St. Martha’s provides all of the luncheon food and beverages, set up, serving, and clean up at the reception.  All remaining food is packaged for the family to take and share at their home with family and guests.   

St. Martha’s Society currently has over 50 dedicated St. Anthony parishioners who volunteer to assist with Funeral Receptions.
